FL8. A great way to build longer runs is to take a simple, short idea and loop it, then transfer it across the strings, and find a note to bend the hell out of to end things. That's exactly what I've done in the following video example. The basic idea is tabbed out below. I've applied it to the chunk of a D Aeolian scale displayed in the fretboard chart. A person could loop this thing for days, and move it all over the place. The idea can be executed with the old "wrist flick/gallop" thing we've talked about here in the past (hey, it's on the Roms!). See if if you can lay down your own "loopers"...sorry, couldn't resist.
