Mixing Modes & Arpeggios

Modes and arpeggios work well together. This lick starts on F moving to G Aeolian. We play up the neck in a 3 note per string sequence till we reach 4 octaves to the 15th fret G. Next we finish with a G minor arpeggio. Try this idea using other modes and their corresponding arpeggios.

Mike Shouse has been playing for over 15 years. Attended G.I.T. of Hollywood, CA in 1992. Versed in many aspects of guitar. Favorites are Instrumental Rock, Classical, Flamenco and Blues.
