This is a great exercise for control in alternate and sweep picking. It's quite tricky. The second section is based around a swept AbMaj7(b5) and is really easy to pick evenly at speed. But try keeping the tempo down to the speed of the drums and it's a different story. If you want to hear the track in full it can be found at:
