Fast, clean, smoldering arpeggios breath fire into the mostly neo-classical compositions. Theodore is a graduate of the Guitar Institute of London, where he obviously excelled as a virtuoso guitar player. His compositions are grounded in the classical music of such luminaries as Bach and Listz He blends the compositions of the old masters with a modern approach drawing from guitar influences such as Tony MacAlpine, George Bellas, Alex Masi and the all time great Jason Becker. Tracks such as "The First Attempt" and the more melodic "Mysterious Simplicity" showcase his awesome vibrato and picking technique. The production is also quite good, and the whole CD has got a perfect sound, so there’s nothing negative to say about this release. It’s highly recommended if you’re a fan of MALMSTEEN, VAI, SATRIANI, BECKER, and also fans of progressive metal (ROYAL HUNT/ARTENSION) will like this CD a lot, although there aren’t any vocals present, but for a start this is definitely a very impressive release."
