This is an intimate collection of "rare demo trax" recorded by POLAND from 1994 through 1999 and released by Grooveyard Records, a new label dedicated to TOTAL GUITAR music. Grooveyard felt that the raw beauty of these trax, even in demo form, captured the essence and maturity of this gifted musician in his own element and that they more than deserve to be documented on this the CHASING THE SUN disc. Excellently recorded and mixed, these trax, in all their glory, embody a transitional phase for POLAND, between RETURN TO METALOPOLIS and his current instrumental fusion power trio, OHM. Fans of CHRIS POLAND will also remember his work with MEGADETH and DAMN THE MACHINE.
