CD ROM usage: Just open "FF2 High Shred Techs.html" in your browser and you're off. From the title screen, clicking "DIRECT ACCESS" will open an interface which allows instant access to all 115 lesson examples which include video and/or audio along with on-screen tab (click here for a sample clip). Using the navigation system at the top of each example page will also access ROM features. You can also progress, step by step, through the lesson by using the "previous" and "next" icons found by each example. Back at the title screen, clicking ".PDF FILE" will load "FF2.pdf". Print this file and you will have a hard copy of the accompanying 71 page book for the "FRANCESCO FARERI - High Shred Techs" lesson. From the title screen again, clicking "THE VIDEO" will take you to the page where you can watch the complete 50 minute "FRANCESCO FARERI - HIGH SHRED TECHS" digital video. "...OK, first of all, this video is not for the faint-at-heart. And it's definitely not suitable for most beginners. These licks are extremely hard to master, and require lots of practise. You should have some chops already, plus some experience in learning and working on new licks. If you are bored by Varney-style neoclassic-stuff, this stuff should be the next stuff for you. Francesco has mastered all those shred-techniques, and definitely knows how to use them at high-speed. This puts him into that league of "new age shredders", and the stuff he is presenting here is great to work on your chops. If you're a "7-Stringer" or not, as long as you like shreds, looking for new challenges, you should check this stuff out. ..."
